Australian Kelpie Puppies for Sale

The puppies were born on Wednesday, October 5th and there are seven in total. There are six males and one female. The puppies will be ten weeks old on Wednesday, December 14th and available for pick-up and/or pre-arranged drop-off on this date. Each of the puppies are predominently black in colour with a mix of white and caramel spots on the chest, which are very similar marking to the father.

The parents are both working farm dogs. Lucy (female) lives on a 10-acre hobby farm on Denman Island and spends her day monitoring the farm yard. Which includes sheep, pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks and a cat. Lucy blends in very well with our small family of three (mom, dad and 9 year old) as well she is great with the variety of visitors who frequent the property. Lucy is an amazing family dog and farm dog who can spend the day working on the hobby farm and always have time for lots of hugs and kisses. Papa comes from Hornby Island and also lives on a small hobby farm. The father was born March 3, 2021 and enjoys a very similar living situation to Lucy. Both dogs are purebred Australian Kelpies (male has papers/female does not) and come from a line of working dogs.

The Australian Kelpie is not a condo-dog, or apartment dog. The breed requires a tremendous amount of exercise physically and mentally. We will be very careful to ensure all puppies are placed into a suitable environment in selling the puppies.

The cost for each puppy is $1000.00 with deposits being accepted Nov 1, 2022. The puppies will be de-wormed and vaccinated leading into the ten week deadline of December 14, 2022. Visitors will be welcomed if you are interested in seeing the puppies after November 22, 2022. The puppies are located on Denman Island and we would be more than welcome to introduce you if you are interested in purchasing a puppy.

If you are interested in purchasing one of our puppies we would appreciate a conversation perhaps starting by email and leading to in-person and/or over the phone. We would like to ensure these puppies are delivered to suitable environments prior to the sale. Our concerns are for the amount of energy these dogs have in combination with the need for the breed to excel in an appropriate environment.
